Blackwood Plough Plane

HI Folks
Finished another Blackwood plane yesterday - this one a plough. Can't beat that combination of brass, steel and blackwood!
This ones off to an American planemaker, which reminds me. Does that make this a "Plow Plane"? ;)

Cheers

Please, don't change your product names to conform to American spelling mannerisms, Phil!

I don't own a Record 043 plow plane, do I? No! It is a Record 043 plough plane! (And I actually own two...)

Stick to your British guns, so to speak...

Oh, I know, Phil. I was, too!

But seriously, don't change it. ;)

Speaking of having a little fun...

In April, I'm heading off to meet Chris Schwarz at Marc Adams for the hand plane class with Tom Lie-Nielsen.

A friend of mine is going with me, but he really wanted me to stand out (like I need any help with that) so he picked up a "May The Schwarz Be With You!" shirt from the Woodwhisperer for me to wear.

You know you're big time when people have shirts with your name and photographic namesake on them...

Should be a great class - say "Hi" from me. Love the t-shirt :)

Philly, that Blackwood plough is gorgeous.

I'll be needing a small quantity of blackwood soon for an upcoming infill smoother, where do you get it from?

Keep up the good work

I got mine from Yandles in Martock. They have only a few rough pieces left -I'm searching for a new supplier!
